Education Qualification

Postdoc with a degree in computer science, informatics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or closely related fields. The candidate should have an outstanding profile, a strong background, and interests in:

      • Automated platforms for chemical synthesis.
      • Adequate programming skills (Python and LabView).
      • Hardware interface and software implementation.
      • Previous experience in the automation of lab processes is beneficial.
      • Knowledge of process control is an asset.
      • Ability for both independent and team work.
      • Strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
      • Language skills in German and English in speech and writing.

    Job Description

    The Postdoc will be responsible for the further development of an automated flow platform for reaction studies and optimization in the group Automated Glycan Assembly. The tasks include working on automated platforms for chemical synthesis, utilizing programming skills in Python and LabView, and implementing hardware interfaces and software. Previous experience in lab process automation, along with knowledge of process control, will be advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate the ability for both independent and team work, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
