Research Area
New catalytic processes for sustainable organic chemistry: The candidate will work on the development, testing, and evaluation of innovative catalytic processes to synthesize organic molecules with focus on renewable and recycled raw materials.
Education Qualification
PhD in Organic Chemistry. Strong background in the development of catalytic processes. Expertise in the characterization of organic compounds and materials characterization techniques (TEM, SEM, XRD). Experience in the use of non-conventional solvents for organic synthesis, electrocatalysis, and/or mechanochemistry is desirable.
Job Description

- Work on the development, testing, and evaluation of innovative catalytic processes.
- Focus on synthesizing organic molecules using renewable and recycled raw materials.
- Apply the principles of green chemistry with emphasis on waste prevention and atom/energy efficiency.
- Utilize homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts for making C-C and C-heteroatom bonds.
