Job Description
Research Fellow in Mathematical Modelling of Infection

- Contribute to the development of an integrated mathematical model of viral replication, transmission, pathogenesis, and immune control for swine influenza and coronaviruses.
- Collaborate with international partners, including mathematical modellers, statisticians, immunologists, and virologists.
- Use stochastic and deterministic approaches to develop computational tools for parametrising mathematical models with experimental data.
- Work in an inter-disciplinary environment in the Mathematical Immunology group at the School of Mathematics, Leeds.
The employment
Fixed Term (12 months – to complete specific time-limited work).
Salary
£37,099 to £44,263 p.a. Due to funding restrictions, an appointment will not be made higher than £38,205 p.a.
