Fresh PhD with working experience in one or more of the following areas: Structure, Dynamics and Function of Biological macromolecules; Cell and Molecular Biology; Molecular Dynamics Simulation; Physical Chemistry. |

Candidates with Ph.D degrees in the field of Experimental Atomic/ Nuclear/ Laser/ Astro-particle/ High Energy Physics and Phenomenology of Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions/properties of strongly interacting matter in a magnetic field. |

The candidate is expected to work independently and conduct research in fields highly interdisciplinary of String theory & gravity, Condensed matter physics and Multi-messenger astrophysics. |

The candidate is expected to work independently and conduct research in the highly interdisciplinary environment in x-ray scattering, namely diffraction from powders/ nanomaterials at different sample environment, x-ray reflectivity and diffuse scattering from thin films and multilayers. Experience in x-ray synchrotron beamline for the above-mentioned techniques will be preferable. The postdoc should be able to give users support for experiments at the SINP beamline, Indus-2, RRCAT. Selected SINP Postdoc will be stationed at RRCAT Indore. Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Physics, Materials Science or related fields. |
Age Limit
The age limit for Saha Research Associates Recruitment 2024 is 21-35 years. The important date for calculating age is April 30, 2024. Age relaxation will be given as per government rules.

Pay Scale

- (a) Rs. 58, 000/- PM for RA-1+HRA
- (b) Rs. 61,000/- PM for RA-2+HRA
The Post Doctoral Fellows/RA may be fixed at one of the pay levels depending on qualifications and experience. The level at which a fellow will be placed will be decided by the interview committee/selection committee.
In addition the other admissible benefits are applicable.
