Postdoc Position: Quantitative Biology of Non-Growing Bacteria (100%)
The postdoctoral fellow will:

- Investigate Escherichia coli during the stationary phase as a case study of non-growing bacteria.
- Utilize experimental techniques from molecular biology, genetics, video-microscopy, microfluidics, and microfabrication.
- Apply cutting-edge data analysis and modeling techniques, collaborating with theoretical researchers in the lab.
- Tailor the project to individual interests and skills, leveraging recent results obtained in the group.
- Explore physiological and evolutionary aspects of stationary phase bacteria, addressing questions related to cell heterogeneity, stress resistance, and evolutionary trade-offs.
