My thesis will submitted in December, could I apply for the post of assistant professor at NIT Kozhikode?

I have qualified CSIR JRF and Ph.D. thesis will submit nextweek. I couldn’t produce award of Ph.D. in December. Could I apply on the basis of JRF instead of Ph.D. ?
