Lady Shri Ram College Assistant Professor Recruitment Education Qualification 2023
The most recent UGC Norms will be used to recruit Assistant Professors.
A Master’s degree in a relevant or related field from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) is the minimum requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor.
The candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) administered by the UGC or the CSIR in addition to the aforementioned requirements. Exemption from the NET will be granted in accordance with clauses (ii) and (iii) of the General Note in the final section of the documents. The Candidates who have been granted a Ph.D. in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.) or who have already received one For the purpose of recruiting and appointing Assistant Professors or equivalent positions in universities, colleges, and institutes, D degree holders are exempt from the NET’s minimum eligibility condition (Regulations, 2009).
