To be eligible for JMI Assistant Professor Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
2. Have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET by the UGC.
3. There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement at the graduate and master’s level for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories. This relaxation is applicable for both eligibility purposes and assessing a good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions.

For Jamia Associate Professor Recruitment 2023

For the position of Associate Professor through direct recruitment in JMI Professor Recruitment 2023, the following qualifications are required:

1. A Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines is mandatory.

2. Have a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a University/College, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries. This should include experience in guiding candidates for research at the doctoral level.
3. Demonstrate contributions to educational innovation, such as designing new curricula and courses, and proficiency in technology-mediated teaching-learning processes.
4. Attain a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
